Shayna joined Richards & Moskowitz at its inception in September 2020. Previously, she was with Baskin Richards as both an intern and an associate. Shayna graduated from Arizona State University’s Sandra Day O’Connor College of Law in May of 2018. While in law school, Shayna served as the Notes and Comments Editor for the Sports and Entertainment Law Journal.  She was an active member and participated in many student groups and organizations in law school, including the Sports and Entertainment Law Students Association and Jewish Law Students Association, as well as serving as a student representative for BARBRI. Shayna also worked as a research assistant for Glenn Wong, the Director of ASU’s Sports Law and Business Program. In addition to her academic achievements, Shayna has a passion for helping others, and graduated law school with the highest Pro Bono Distinction in recognition of her many hours of pro bono work done in Maricopa County.  She has served as the Secretary for the Maricopa County Bar Association, Young Lawyers Division for the past three years.

As an undergraduate, Shayna attended California State University, San Bernardino where she received an athletic scholarship for the Women’s Basketball Team and served as President of the Student Athlete Advisory Committee. She graduated Summa Cum Laude in three years with a Bachelor’s degree in Criminal Justice. Shayna grew up in Redondo Beach, CA and enjoyed diversifying her interests from a young age, spanning from competing on the basketball and tennis courts to performing on stage in musical theater productions. Shayna is very involved in her Jewish community which she attributes to her many years served as a summer camp counselor and youth program coordinator for her temple. In her spare time, Shayna enjoys being a trainer and coach for the Hoop Code Basketball Academy which is Arizona’s leading youth basketball development organization. Shayna is a firm believer in her self-proclaimed mantra, “Never give anyone the power to take away your smile.”
