Kate Hofland

Kate began her career as an elementary school teacher and is deeply proud of her more than two decades of service educating children in Arizona. While still teaching, she served on a jury in a criminal matter in Maricopa County Superior Court and that experience sparked her passion for participating in the legal system. Kate attended Phoenix College at night and obtained her Paralegal Certificate in 2013. Because she values education and maintaining the highest level of
credentialing possible, she also became a NALA Certified Paralegal the same year.

Kate’s path in public service continued as a paralegal at the Arizona Attorney General’s Office in the Education and Health Section until she ultimately decided to transition to private practice in 2018. Her tenure at Richards & Moskowitz PLC began in early 2024. Kate’s work here, combined with her various professional experiences to this point, inspired her to pursue one additional educational and personal goal by becoming one of the first three Legal Paraprofessionals to be licensed in Arizona in the area of Administrative Law.

The things Kate enjoys most in the world are participating in Toastmasters International, gardening, listening to and playing music, and spoiling her three grandsons.
